At Artemis, we are always interested in engineers who are not just academically qualified but also enthusiastic about engineering – people who enjoy using their skills and expertise outside the workplace.
Which is why we are delighted to continue sponsoring the Edinburgh University Formula Student team.
This team was established in 2014 by undergraduate students of various disciplines at the University of Edinburgh. The team’s goal each year is to design and build a single seat racing car to compete at multiple Formula Student competitions around the globe.
For many students, building a car and racing it is a practical way to apply their learning in a variety of real world area, and the Edinburgh team now has over 50 team members across a variety of sub-teams, from chassis, suspension and engine to electronics, driverless control and business skills.
We think of Formula Student as a great way of equipping the graduates of tomorrow with some of the skills required in the world of work and are proud to support the Edinburgh University team.
We wish them well for all their endeavours.
